Wellness Connections

Community Health Centre

705-324-7323 ext 181

21 Angeline St. N.
Lindsay, ON

The Wellness Connections Program is designed to help adults aged 65+ take proactive steps toward healthy aging. Based on the Canadian Frailty Network’s AVOID Frailty framework, this program focuses on practical strategies that support strength, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Frailty is not a normal part of aging — and in many cases, it can be prevented or even reversed with the right knowledge and actions. Wellness Connections provides tools, education, and community support to help you make informed, confident choices about your health.

Upcoming Sessions

The Wellness Connections Program features a new topic each month to help you live and age well. Click each drop down item below for more information about upcoming sessions.

Beginner Drumming Circle

Thursday September 10th 1:30 – 3 pm

21 Angeline St. N. Lindsay

Ready to try something new? Join us for our Beginner Drumming Circle on September 10!

No drumming experience is needed. Drumming is a fun way to engage the brain, support focus and concentration, reduce stress, and encourage connection and creativity. Most importantly, it’s a chance to enjoy some music, movement, and fun in a welcoming group setting.

Whether you’ve never picked up a drum before or you’re simply looking for a new way to connect, we’d love to have you join us!

Details of our October Wellness Connections Program session will be shared soon!

Rest Well – Practical Sleep Strategies

Thursday November 12th 1:30 – 3 pm

21 Angeline St. N.

Join us for an interactive session with a guest speaker from Ross Memorial Hospital Sleep Lab. Learn practical tips for better sleep, how it affects overall health, and hear about local sleep lab services that help diagnose conditions like insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, and more. Discover simple strategies to rest well and wake up refreshed.
