Volunteer Training Sessions

Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes offers regular opportunities for agency volunteers to keep up-to-date on relevant information that pertains to their work with the organization. Training workshops are offered regularly so that volunteers who have not recently attended a presentation can take advantage in order to keep apprised of relevant information.

The next Volunteer Training will be announced shortly. There will be presentations on the Personal Health Information Act, workplace boundaries, Bill 168 and infection control and prevention, as well as a short video on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

The sessions are free for Community Care volunteers. Please contact Volunteer Services Co-ordinator Wendy Bruckert at 705-324-7323 ext 321 for further information or to register for an upcoming training session.
