At Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes, we are always looking for new recruits to join our volunteer team.
You can help make our community better for local residents by assisting in the delivery of services that they require.

51,000 rides to local residents by volunteer drivers
2,000 hours of Friendly Visiting, Home Help and Lifeline program assistance
7,200 visits to our Adult Day programs
9,700 meals served at Diners Clubs
28,000 Meals on Wheels were delivered to clients
9,300 units of participation in Wellness programs
VOLUNTEERING WITH COMMUNITY CARE IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3!

This Month's Volunteer Opportunity -
Each day, hundreds of Community Care clients are assisted in getting to medical appointments, shopping, banking and other outings through the help of Volunteer Drivers who give their time to take people where they want to go.
Volunteer drivers are reimbursed for their travel, and can sign up to provide short or longer, out-of-town trips.
If you enjoy helping others and are interested in finding out more about this and all volunteer opportunities with Community Care, please contact Volunteer Co-ordinator Wendy Bruckert (705-324-7323 ext 160).
