Community Care Foundation (Kawartha Lakes)
The Community Care Foundation (Kawartha Lakes) is a registered charity established in 2011 that directly supports the activities of Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes.
The agency provides support to more than 9,000 individuals in the communities we serve: Fenelon Falls, Bobcaygeon, Kirkfield, Lindsay and all surrounding areas in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes is a health and community support services agency which provides a full range of services designed to promote health for individuals of all ages and the independence of seniors and special needs clients. Our team of caring staff and volunteers is dedicated to providing assistance and support whenever you need it. Services include Health, Wellness & Dental, Food Security, Assisted Living & Respite Services, Hospice & Bereavement Services, and Rides & Transportation.
While Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes receives some government funding for core support services, we rely on donations from individuals in our community to make up the 35% of our budget required to provide crucial Hospice and Bereavement Services, Specialized Transportation Services and our low-income Dental Clinic.
