It will be another "night to remember" when the 3rd annual Handbags for Hospice Charity Auction takes place early in the new year. The evening of fun, friendship and fundraising in support of Community Care Hospice Services grief support programs takes place Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 in the ballroom at the Admiral Inn, Lindsay.
Thanks to everyone for their tremendous interest in our Handbags for Hospice charity auction. Due to the strong response to ticket sales, on-lines sales are now closed.
Please contact Kathleen Wild, Foundation Fund Development Officer (705) 324-7323 ext 164, or e-mail email@example.com for ticket information.
In the past two years, Handbags for Hospice has become the Community Care Foundation's signature fundraising event in support of Hospice Services. 2017's event raised more than $37,000 towards Grief Support programs, including $9,000 to the Kids and Teens Grief program - enabling Hospice to respond to the unique challenges of grief at different ages.

A committee of dedicated volunteers, led by chairperson Robyn McNabb, is currently planning the event. Tickets are $50/person and include a complimentary drink, hors d'oeuvres and entry into a draw for a designer handbag.
"Gather your friends, family and colleagues together for a fun night out with Layne, The Auctionista. Her high energy auction style entertains and inspires," says Kathleen Wild, Fund Development Officer for the Foundation. "With more than 75 designer handbags and other items to bid on, we hope to have a great turnout, have great fun and break last year's fundraising total."
The event begins at 7 p.m. on Jan. 26 (doors open at 6:30).
